You’ve got quite a collection of electric guitars, and have proven to be quite proficient with the instrument. Do your skills also extend to acoustic steel-string or classical/flamenco guitars? If not, would you ever consider learning them?
I’ve got a Taylor acoustic, but I don’t play it much- for whatever reason, I can only seem to write on electric guitar (which is weird, literally every other musician I know is the opposite). I mainly keep it around in case of power outages or the collapse of western civilization.

You’ve probably answered this question before, but I suppose I’ll ask anyway. Obviously Marigold is a fan of anime, and you’ve made several references to different animes in QC. You also make your way to a lot of cons which no doubt include anime oriented things. Are you yourself a big fan of anime or manga? If so what is currently your favorite series? (P.S. You’ve got one of the BEST webcomics online.)
I don’t know if I’m a “big” fan, I’ve seen my fair share but it’s not the dominant form of media I consume or anything. The recently-completed show Nichijou is probably the best thing I’ve seen in years. Can’t wait for that to come out on DVD.
Out of the history of shirts that you can remember drawing, which one has been your favourite? Mine has always been Faye’s Bear Monster shirt. Someday when I’m not poor I will own one :) Also, do you own all the shirts you’ve printed?? Thanks!!! You are pretty neato, sir! :)
I think art-wise, the “Embrace the Future” one is the best design, but “Evolution Kills” is probably my favorite just because it came out of absolutely nowhere. I used to have at least one of all my shirts, but I don’t wear t-shirts as much anymore, and I don’t really have room in my closet for more.

how many strings and what tunings do you use (guitar) for deathmole songs?
The majority of songs are played on 6-string guitar, with maybe 3 or 4 on 7-string (I’m working on some stuff with my new 8-string now, too). The most common tuning is drop-C (drop-D tuning a full step down), but I also write a fair bit in drop-B. The 7-string stuff is all done with the top 6 strings in standard tuning and the low string tuned down to A. I really like dropped tunings, you can reach all sorts of neat chords and heavier voicings you can’t get in standard.
As a newbie to the whole heavy scene, my ears aren’t tuned correctly yet so umm, what are the lyrics to Bully Boys Go Off To War? also if i REALLY like that song, what other bands would you recommend?
