Nah, I’ve just been trying to draw her curvier lately. Consistency in artwork has never been a strong point of mine.
When starting the comic did you do any world building and brainstorming of characters or did you just have the names planned out and the rest you just winged it?
I figured out the setting and basic character archetypes for Marten and Pintsize, other than that I just made it up as I went along.
Does Hannelore have any dietary preferences - does she avoid things like meat or eggs because of disease? Or is she fine with anything that’s cooked properly?
I imagine that she’s fairly picky about her food, but she’s generally an omnivore.

Once or twice in the background before that comic. That was the most overt one.

Haven’t really decided yet. I drew her with more for a while, I think, but it’s since reverted to just the “POW” star on her elbow for now.
Hey Jeph. I am a huge fan of QC and your work in general, and had a question concerning social anxiety. I have crippling social issues to the point where I find it difficult to ask a friend for a phone number or talk to a girl without freaking out. I also have a tendency to freak out about every single little thing a million miles down the road and was wondering if you could,and this will sound weird, suggest any advice without medication or therapy? My family is pretty poor,and can’t afford it.
Those would be my two suggestions, so…sorry? Try to live in the moment and not obsess over stuff. Which is way easier said than done, I know, but short of meds or therapy I don’t know what to tell you. There’s no magic cure that I know of. :\

In the summer, mostly short-sleeved button-downs. In winter generally some sort of zip-up hoodie or sweater.
Why do Faye, Marigold, and Elliot all have identically square-shaped glasses?
ELLIOT DOESN’T HAVE GLASSES. If you meant Angus, it is because I am habitually used to drawing rectangular frames and I like the way they look.
